The review

Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2021 Cardinale Cabernet Sauvignon is a prestigious Napa Valley blend of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Merlot, sourced from a diverse array of mountain and valley floor appellations. Crafted by winemaker Christopher Carpenter, this vintage earned a perfect 100-point score for its off-the-charts richness and flawless balance. The wine features a complex aromatic profile of blueberry, cassis, and dark chocolate, layered with notes of graphite, toasted spices, and wild sage. On the palate, it is full-bodied and voluptuously textured with fine-grained tannins and a long, fragrant finish that allows for aging through 2050.
